As in sit here waiting for my oil change I watched Brad help a caller who was doing a DYI spark plug replacement. The caller wanted to be sure he was using the right manufacturer recommended plug. Brad spent 10-15 minutes helping this gentleman, not what the company is in business to do, help people for free. Brad was recommending the caller not use the cheapest plug he could buy but use something that would last. Amazing customer service to a non customer. My service was just an oil change but I can tell you this is now my new auto service depot. Plus Kari was excellent at gettin me a same day reservation and waiting room customer service. Always had a smile.
Delaney Tire and Auto Center is a top tier service provider. The staff is professional, the waiting area clean and comfortable, and the fee for services are very reasonable and fair. Highest kudos for James, the Service Manager for this location. James is always professional, courteous and is a man of integrity. Recently I had service done at the shop and best on the estimate, expected to pay a certain price. When I picked my car up, it was half the price because James said one of the main parts didn’t have to be replaced. Kudos to the mechanic and James for their integrity because I know service centers up north would not have been so honest. Because of James, Brian and the rest of the team at Delaney’s are stand-up guys and always friendly and professional, I wouldn’t take my car to any other service center. I strongly recommend you go to Delaney’s for your car to be serviced as well. I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.
These folks seem very professional and are a stark contrast to many money grabbing auto enterprises that try to run up the bill wherever they can. Have taken both our VW's there in the past year, once where they promptly replaced a tire at a good price and another time when they removed a nail that was causing a slow leak and patched the tire and refused any payment. That matches with a further occasion where they refitted a plastic under bumper / under engine panel that had come unclipped and once again waved away any sort of payment.
I discovered a badly leaking tire during our visit to Wilmington and stopped unannounced at this location. They took me right in and repaired a puncture within twenty minutes and they would'nt accept payment or even a tip. Thank you and it's refreshing to deal with people who were kind and professional. If I lived in Wilminton, you would have my business for all of our vehicles. Thank you!
The staff at this store are amazing! The gentleman and lady up front treated me like family! They made the usually painful auto experience absolutely kind and nice and quick. I would recommend them over any other shop in Wilmington. Thank you to both of those wonderful people in the office! You are sincerely appreciated.
